This week has been a busy one for cakes, and this fish cake we did has to be one of our favourite cakes that we’ve ever made.
Shepherds pie, with a twist! We took a basic shepherds pie and tweaked it a little just to add something different and make it a bit healthier We added sweet potato to the mashed potato, and used ground chicken instead of beef.
A while ago, Keith suggested that we make the cake for his nieces 6th birthday party. Once we found out that the theme was going to be “Tangled”, we started planning out different ideas and finally decided on the very popular Tangled Tower. It started off as a small cake….but we quickly realized that we were planning a 2- ft tower and transporting this thing seemed more and more terrifying! Thankfully everything went smoothly and Hailey loved her Tangled cake.
